Nouns, Turkeys, and a Sale

So... we've been working hard these past few weeks and I thought I would post a couple of cute things that we've been doing.

First up, is our "Nuts About Nouns" display. The kiddies wrote some nouns on their leaf and added an acorn face. This is one of my favorite fall displays. They're quick and easy to do.

We also did some handprint turkeys. This poem has been around forever, but I love the addition of the feathers. I stole borrowed that idea from my across-the-hall teaching pal, Ms. Kusher. I wasn't even going to do them, but once I saw hers hanging in the hall, looking too cute, I just had to! I looooove the way they turned out. Luckily, my practicum student was there that day to help out with the handprints.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. It's back to work tomorrow after being off for five days. I better pull out my December bin and get started on all the fun projects I want to do.

Oops! I almost forgot. I'm having a 20% sale on all my TPT items from Monday 11/28 - Wednesday 11/30. In honor of Cyber Monday, TPT is offering 10% off using the code CMS28 on Monday only.
